Mother's Day

Another Mother's Day is right around the corner. If you are a Mom, any favorite gifts you have received from your kids? Or anything memorable that you gave your Mom in the past?

"Happy Bag" for Child

When a friend's child was having surgery we sent a large goody
bag.(I didn't have a basket large enough) It contained stuff for the child who
was having surgery, but also his 2 sisters. So no one was left out. It contained
stuff like a ball, Mr. Potato head, coloring book, crayons, misc. toys, candy,
popcorn. We called it the "Happy Bag".

A Unique and Useful Birthday Gift

A few years ago my friend Holly gave me a gift basket of baking supplies for my birthday. In the basket were such things as baking staples like baking powder and vanilla, a few cookie cutters for my kids, measuring cups, recipe books, cooling rack, pot holders, etc. It was such a fun basket and so useful since my birthday was the end of November. A few weeks later when it was time to start Christmas cookie baking I had all these new supplies and ingredients ready to use.
